VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORPS
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

help this completely FREE service to continue to provide excellent emergency
services to our community. We treat all our patients and familes with respect,
and the needs and comfort of the patients and their families are our most
important functions. We will strive to continue this vital community service.
For 5 decades, Damascus Ambulance has not charged for any services (with a
membership contribution), and is proud and pleased to be able continue this
valuable service through generous contributions of time and money by the
community.

Through Mutual Aid with other ambulance corps we
recently have helped provide care with Tusten Ambulance, Cochecton Ambulance,
Upper Delaware Ambulance, Northern Wayne Ambulance, Pleasant Mount Emergency
Services and Honesdale Emergency services. In return, those organizations
provide mutual aid for emergencies when more than two ambulances are needed to
help sick or injured people. We also work hand-in-hand with the volunteer fire
companies at fires, automobile accidents and farm accidents.
